Clay is a newer direction — building form and texture by hand rather than brush. These three pieces span figurative sculpture, decorative pottery and pet portraiture, each exploring what can be expressed through three dimensions.
I had the California fires and the enormous destructive forces of nature in mind. Through it all mother nature always finds a way to go again and out of the ashes we will get regeneration and life again soon enough.
